  • Overview

    We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Executive II (AE) with experience selling sports/athletic apparel and gear and/or other services over the phone, by email, and via web-based presentations. You will be responsible for managing a client book and proactively reaching out to ensure client satisfaction/retention while continuously hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market.


    • Use a telephone/internet-based approach to drive sales in qualified and target accounts
    • Perform outbound sales interactions to existing and targeted prospective customers, with a focus on client activation and customer retention and expansion
    • Strong communication skills to interact with the customer
    • Meet or exceed revenue and new account expectations
    • Maintain records of pipeline and account activity within Salesforce Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
    • Meets or exceeds defined non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with emphasis on activity and pipeline management
    • Maintain a consistent and disciplined sales process to develop new relationships and educate customers on SquadLocker’s Value Proposition, gaining credibility and consideration for new account activations
    • Win new business by aligning customer’s goals and objectives with SquadLocker’s industry leading benefits
    • Prepares and presents demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions presentations within account assignment, utilizing design and team/bulk sales support – as needed
    • Leverages a team selling model by partnering with assigned SSR and activation support team members to ensure customer engagement


    • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related sales environment

    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in related field
    • Coaching or sports related background; or 5 + years as an Account Executive, and/or outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods)
    • Experience in sporting goods and/or apparel industry is a plus
    • Experience as a league, team, or club administrator is a plus
    • Experience as a league, team, or club administrator is a plus
    • Minimum 2 years telephone based successful account development and account management experience
    • Excellent organization and communication skills
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within a very fast-paced environment while maintaining strict attention to detail
    • Prior experience communicating directly with customers and clients
    • Process orientated and analytical skills
    • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software platform a plus
