  • Overview

    SquadLocker is seeking to hire entry level Business Development Representatives (BDR) to join our growing sales team. You will be helping us to activate leads and opportunities as we build out our sales pipeline. This is a great way to get to know about the customer gear and apparel business with an emerging Rhode Island company. Every day you will work in a team that promotes personal growth and constant learning.




    As a BDR, you will use Salesforce CRM, Zendesk Chat and effective communication skills (phone and emails) on a daily basis while conducting the following activities:

    • Research Prospective Customers

    • Create Outreach Strategies (by Phone, Email + In Person)

    • Identify Sales Opportunities

    • Set Appointments for Sales Team

    • Help High Value Administrators

    • Conduct Conversations with Potential Customers

    • Articulate the Value of SquadLocker to all types of customers


    After just a few months, you will have a deeper understanding of sports league operations and how SquadLocker’s platform will help solve many of the issues sports leaders face every day.


    On a day to day basis, this means you will:

    • Conduct high volume prospecting (100 + activities / day) to qualify and pre-qualify leads through chats, calls and emails.

    • Work in collaboration our whole sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies

    • Schedule introductory meetings for our Sales Team to further asses a lead’s needs (school, league, club, organization, company, etc.)




    We are looking for ambitious individuals with a history of high achievement and the desire to work in a face paced environment with peers who challenge them to be better. These are the qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business or Liberal Arts and/or a minimum of 4 years related work experience or equivalent combination

    • 1-3 years proven sales work experience. Combined business development/customer service/account management experience a plus.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Meet and exceed performance goals /Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Experience with Salesforce CRM and managing one’s day based on follow up assignments and workflows and being in tune with proactively scheduling the next follow up step to achieve desired outcomes

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer technologies, such as chat tools is a requirement
