  • Overview

    We are seeking a passionate, motivated, and experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead the Inside Sales function and Sales team for the SquadLocker SaaS platform, to include, overall leadership, functional management, active coaching, and execution of sales goals.

     

    The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible to develop, oversee, and support our Inside Sales team. They will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process.

     

    The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing the Inside Sales team to track sales activities using Customer Resource Management (CRM), specifically SalesForce, and strategically work through the sales cycle to follow-up and close prospective new business. SquadLocker is looking for someone who can help review the operations and work with current managers to bridge the gap and allow for further efficiencies and growth.

    Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Drive the achievement of weekly/monthly/quarterly leading indicators and attainment of goals
    • Design and deliver training and/or analyze and improve team operational procedures
    • Work with Senior Leadership and Outside Sales Managers on new business plans to identify new business opportunities and fully qualify these opportunities using defined sales process
    • Distribute Salesforce reports and dashboards to sales organization with accurate pipeline data
    • Work in team environment with the Marketing, Engineering, and Channel Sales organization
    • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary
    • Ensure effective selection, orientation, training, development and retention of sales staff
    • Interview and hire talented new employees to the Sales team - Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Account Managers, Sales Support Representatives
    • Proactively identify changes in market, technology, and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly
    • Ability to recommend and manage compensation and incentives for the Sales department
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
    • Manage to meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
    • Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to address key business issues and opportunities
    • Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies
    • Attend trade shows, seminars, conferences, and other events as necessary to meet goals and objectives
    • Assist with Sales team projects and perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    We are looking for ambitious individuals with a history of high achievement and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment with peers who challenge them to be better. These are the qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of sales experience, preferably in the sports apparel industry, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role
    • Minimum 5 years selling experience & strong drive to constantly improve selling skills and performance
    • Consistently meets or exceeds targets – proven top performer
    • Highly proficient in sales force automation, Salesforce.com strongly preferred
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Possess a strong work ethic and ownership of project and can-do approach
    • Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high-performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans
    • Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives
    • Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members.
    • Effective strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
    • Solid understanding of team sales, youth sporting goods, and decorated apparel
    • Exceptional negotiation skills
    • Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally
    • Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management
    • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient in business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong time management, organization skills with a demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to details
    • Ability to travel as required
