  • Overview

    SquadLocker’s Rhode Island office is actively looking for a Merchandising Assistant to specialize in the maintenance of our product catalog across several platforms. As a Product Catalog Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for keeping accurate and thorough data within our product catalog databases and supporting the merchandising team in SKU and inventory preparation. In this full-time role, you’ll learn the ins-and-outs of e-commerce and will substantially expand your team gear product knowledge base. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with some of our vendors, including Under Armour and Adidas.


    • Accurately collect, set up and manage product SKUs for bulk ordering and online store builder
    • Proactively identify items that will be discontinued; update discontinued inventory within the system and communicate to internal teams
    • Update pricing information within our systems to reflect vendor-driven changes, including short-term promotional pricing
    • Maintain inventory replenishment database, including adding and deleting products
    • Assist in reviewing demand for stock product purchasing
    • Other duties as assigned

    We are looking for ambitious individuals with a history of high achievement and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment with peers who challenge them to be better. Qualified candidates will have:


    • 1 to 3 years of data entry work experience
    • Relevant Associates Degree
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and other data entry programs
    • Typing capabilities; speed and accuracy
    • Outstanding organization skills
    • Self-motivated personality, including the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
    • Ability to work in complex environments with remote teams on multiple locations across time zones
    • Experience handling a high stress, fast-paced environment while working independently
